Terms of Service

FullSquad is a product of Shewfly Arcade, LLC. References to “we,” “us,” or “FullSquad” in these terms refer to Shewfly Arcade, LLC operating the FullSquad service.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using FullSquad, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What FullSquad is

FullSquad is a team attendance management tool for recreational sports teams. It lets captains create teams, invite players to events, track RSVPs, share a public team page, and optionally collect player fees via Stripe.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You may not use the service to harass, spam, threaten, or harm others, to violate any law, or to infringe anyone's rights.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid team subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By starting a subscription, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription from your billing settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features through that date and are not charged again.

We may offer a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will start automatically and your payment method will be charged.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@fullsquad.app and we will review your request.

For player fees collected through your team, captains may issue refunds to individual players directly through the app. The FullSquad platform fee and the Stripe processing fee are non-refundable. The amount returned to a player is the captain's net of those fees.

Player payments and captain responsibilities

When a captain uses FullSquad to collect player fees, the captain is the merchant of record for those payments. FullSquad acts only as a technology platform that facilitates payment collection via Stripe Connect.

Captains are solely responsible for: (a) the goods or services they are charging players for, (b) communicating refund and cancellation policies to their players, (c) responding to player disputes, and (d) complying with all applicable tax laws. Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a 1099-K) directly to captains based on payouts.

FullSquad charges a 2% platform fee on player payments collected through the service, in addition to Stripe's processing fees.

User content

You retain ownership of content you upload to FullSquad (team logos, player names, event details, etc.). By uploading content, you grant FullSquad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the service to your team.

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law.

SMS messaging program

Program name: FullSquad Event Notifications.

Program description: When you opt in, FullSquad will send you transactional SMS messages relating to your team's events — event invitations, cancellations, and time changes. Messages originate from a number assigned to FullSquad and are sent via our messaging provider, Twilio.

Message frequency: Recurring, varies based on your team's schedule. Most users receive a few messages per week or fewer.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Carrier rates and message frequency are determined by your wireless carrier and plan; FullSquad does not charge for SMS messages.

Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from FullSquad, or by turning off SMS notifications in your in-app notification settings.

Supported carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your phone number and other personal information. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in status are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes and are not sold.

Service availability

We aim to keep FullSquad running reliably but make no guarantees of uptime. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms other users or the service. We will provide reasonable notice unless immediate action is required.

Limitation of liability

FullSquad is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed games or events due to notification failures.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
